Symptoms
There are many symptoms that come with a tapeworm infection. They include nausea, weakness, diarrhea, abdominal pain, hunger or loss of appetite, fatigue, weight loss, and vitamin/mineral deficiencies. If the larvae attach to parts of the body other than the intestines, cysts usually form around the attached area. Sometimes none of these symptoms will show, and can be deadly as the host doesn't know he/she is infected. Another way of checking for tapeworms is to observe your bowel movements and checking for pieces or whole worms moving in the waste. If you have these symptoms or you see the worms in your feces, a doctor appointment is necessary as soon as possible.
